When interviewing a candidate, you'll need to jot down notes on their interview question sheet, both during and after the interview, to capture your first impressions of them and how they might fit in. This helps document their strengths and weaknesses. It's also good to go back and add to your notes a few hours later to really think about the candidate more deeply. Then, you should look at the job description again and see how the candidate's skills stack up against what's needed for the role.

Since I was already working here, it was easier. They interviewed me on Teams with two managers. After a few weeks, things changed, and they asked me to apply for a different job listing to get me hired under that ID. Then, about a month after the interview, I got an offer, but I only had two days to decide, and the top manager said no negotiations.

  • Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered in your previous role?
  • What was your approach to dealing with a disagreement with a coworker?
  • Could you share an example of a project you found particularly rewarding and your specific contributions?
