The interview experience was quite relaxed and lasted for about 45 minutes. The person interviewing me was really nice and made the whole thing feel more like a chat than an exam. They mostly asked about functional and formal verification, specifically what the difference is between them. I told them that functional verification checks if the design works as expected, usually with simulations and testbenches. Formal verification, though, uses math to prove design properties without simulations. It was more of a discussion than an interrogation, and I felt I explained my understanding well.

The interview process starts with looking over your resume, then a chat with the recruiter. After that, there are about 1-2 technical interviews where they might ask coding, system, or hardware questions depending on the role. For coding, expect Leetcode-style problems. If it's a hardware role, it'll be more about digital design. They also do a behavioral interview. They'll let you know the final decision within a few weeks. They're really looking for how well you can solve problems, work with others, and how deep your technical knowledge is for the internship.
