First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Intel Corporation.
Finance Analyst
I got an entry level position, so it's based on that. First, you have a quick interview with recruiters, mostly to test your english and get to know you, if you do well, then you have a longer interview with your possible manager/peers!
- Describe a situation where you identified a process inefficiency or a need for improvement. What steps did you take, and what was the outcome?
Finance Analyst
It was a 2-round interview process. The first round was with two finance team members and HR, and it was a straightforward competency-based interview. The second round was a more relaxed conversation about the role with the Financial Controller.
- Describe your approach to managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Can you elaborate on your experience completing analyses?
Financial Analyst
It was some cost accounting questions, some basic finance questions like what's NPV, discount rate, how they're correlated, and then obviously the basic behavioral questions (why Intel, why you, etc etc.). There are 4 questions.
- Which financial statement is most important when deciding to invest in a company, and why?
