Manager
This was a really concerning interview experience, and I want to share so others know what to expect. It started early on when the recruiter suggested I might need to 'fudge' resume gaps, even though there weren't any real gaps, just a concise resume. This set an uncomfortable tone. The onsite interviews weren't much better; interviewers were often late, and the hiring manager kept me way past the scheduled end time without checking if I was free, even though the recruiter was waiting. This happened even though the interview likely wouldn't last the full 3 hours, but it ended up going for 3.5. It really showed how boundaries are treated there. I'd mentioned I'd be traveling and unreachable, but the recruiter still contacted me repeatedly, even after I said I'd be in touch soon. It makes you wonder how they treat people after an offer. The interviews themselves were strange too. Instead of asking about my experience, they kept asking how I was 'feeling about everything,' which felt odd. The recruiter also called me while I was traveling to ask what excited me most about the job, which felt like they were overly focused on whether I'd 'fit the culture.' They also seemed genuinely confused about why candidates were dropping out, which seemed obvious by the end. When I asked about flexibility for doctor's appointments with a 5-day onsite schedule, I was told that kind of flexibility would need to be 'earned' and would be 'rare.' The PTO is also pretty limited. I decided to withdraw from the process because the patterns seemed consistent and they didn't seem interested in addressing them.

Talent Acquisition Manager
I had 5 interviews. The first one was virtual, and then I had 4 onsite interviews about 2 weeks later. I met with two Sr. Directors, one Director, and a Sr. TA Manager. After about 3 hours of interviews, I didn't get any information about next steps. It took three weeks of silence, and I had to reach out to get an update on the timeline. I got an email saying that despite my qualifications, they wanted someone whose values and working style were a better fit for their culture. This was surprising because the hiring manager used profanity regularly during the interview, although not at me. I'm not sure how my values were assessed since I focused on the job duties, presented a 90-day plan, and tailored my questions to each leader's area of responsibility. The interview process itself wasn't hard, but it lacked structure and had a poor feedback loop. The company talks about diversity, but I didn't see clear examples or processes supporting it. The overall candidate experience was disappointing. The reason for rejection is a red flag, as was their body language when I asked about diversity.

Operations Project Manager
I initially connected with the opportunity through a service and was really excited. After the first Zoom interview, I had to wait two weeks for the next one because the hiring manager was on vacation. The second interview involved meeting with six other people. The office space was great, and everyone I met was really friendly, leaving me feeling very positive about the role. For about three weeks after that, I was repeatedly told that things looked good, they were just waiting on budget approval, and a decision would be made soon. The recruiter's daily update was always the same: "We like you, you're a top candidate, and there are only two of you left." After being led on like that, the recruiter called and very bluntly said, "You didn't get the job, and we don't have any other openings right now. Have a great week." I was devastated and incredibly disappointed. I had actually turned down another decent offer because I was so sure this was the right fit. The company mission, the people I met, and the overall vibe just seemed perfect. The whole process felt really long and drawn out. The communication was poor, and I'm not sure if that was the recruiter or the company's fault. It wasn't what I expected at all.

Accountant
So first there was a Zoom interview, then a written test, then a group discussion. After that, I had a face-to-face with a senior accountant, then a face-to-face with the manager, and finally a face-to-face with the director. Following the interview with the director, there were still a lot of other practices to do.
