It was a great experience with great people. They made me feel confident, as a junior, that I could successfully complete any large task that I would get. I got a lot of experience in web development and learned a lot.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online. Then I got a phone interview that lasted about 30 mins. The recruiter asked about my past experience on my resume and some general interview questions. After that, I was moved to an onsite interview which was 2 days later. It was really hot that day! The onsite interview was a little shorter, about 20 mins, with two interviewers, and they asked almost the same questions as before. One thing that caught me off guard was that they asked a behavioral question twice during the onsite. I used my prepared story the first time, but when they asked the same question again, I completely blanked... I think that's why I didn't get the offer.

Behavioral Other

I first chatted with the hiring manager on the phone. Then, I met up with someone who works there for coffee, which was nice. After that, I had another interview on-site with the same person I first spoke to. As soon as I got there, one person started asking me about my hair, shoes, height, smile, and style. They even asked if I lived with anyone. I kept my answers short, even though I didn't have to because those questions weren't legal to ask. I didn't hear back for weeks, so I followed up and was told to wait. I still haven't heard back. It was a really unprofessional and unethical way to interview.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty chill chat, lasted about an hour and a half. I talked to the owner and the head UX designer. The owner mentioned their vibe is kinda 'sink or swim', and since I was fresh outta college, they probably wanted someone with more experience. Didn't really have any strong feelings about it myself. The main bummer was, after I sent a follow-up 'thank you', I never heard back.
