The first step was a basic phone screen. Then I had a 3-hour onsite interview, which required a 3-hour drive. The interview itself was pretty simple, and the interviewers were nice and knowledgeable. I finished the coding challenge early and added extra features, which they seemed happy with. After the interview, I waited about two weeks to hear back, longer than the few days I was told. The recruiter said they were extending the process to see more candidates but that I shouldn't worry, and that they loved me and I was the only one to complete the coding challenge. Because of this, I turned down other offers and kept other companies waiting. Finally, the recruiter texted me to say they chose someone else. It was very frustrating.

The hiring process moved quickly. I was first reached out to by HR on LinkedIn and had a phone chat. After that, I went in for an in-person interview. There, I spent half an hour shadowing someone named Dan to see what logistics entails. Then, I completed a 30-minute test that mostly assesses number skills and problem-solving ability. Following that, I had a 30-minute interview with a senior sales representative, and finally, a Skype call with two managers. The team was very professional and approachable, really great people. It didn't feel like a high-pressure sales job; they all seemed collaborative and relaxed. Overall, it was a really good experience.

I talked to a recruiter first, and then they set up an onsite interview. I got to shadow a team lead who was doing great with the company. After that, I met with the hiring manager, and they asked me a few questions about my past experiences. The team seemed really energetic and worked together well. Sadly, we couldn't agree on salary. They have a strict, non-negotiable starting salary policy, which made me feel like they were just looking for anyone to fill the spot.
