Overall a very smooth process. However, one of the interviewers said some things that didn't make sense for an interview, like 'we expect you to work and not be on the beach' (especially because even if I intended to do that, I would never say it).

I talked with the billing manager for this role. We discussed the company, and they asked me some questions. It was pretty straightforward, and I felt good about it. They seemed really interested and said they'd email me an offer.

The first contact was really quick and an interview was scheduled almost right away. They were pretty accommodating given the situation. My main problem is that you have to state your offer upfront: this is what I can do. That won't change from the phone call to when I show up for the interview. It's a waste of everyone's time to be rejected because they 'figured out' you didn't have 'the thing' they wanted (and never had it from the start). You'll also need to set aside about half your day just for the interview.

The interview was pretty straightforward and really focused on my past work experience. It went through several rounds, and they put a lot of effort into building a personal connection. It wasn't intimidating at all, and they ended up offering me a position with the company.
