It's a quick and simple behavioral interview. After that, you'll just do the paperwork. Then, you'll need to watch some videos and take exams before you can start working.

The interview process itself seemed fine, with a lot of paperwork and a visit to the airport security office, but it wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. The interviewer was friendly, which was a big help. It's not often I encounter such a nice interviewer, so it was appreciated. However, the fact that the job listing didn't mention that training only starts at 6 AM was a dealbreaker for me because I have another part-time job in the morning. This came up after I had already completed the interview and started the TSA background check. I was under the impression that the upcoming Saturday class after the interview would start at 6 AM, but subsequent classes would be at different times. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I explained this to a manager I hadn't met during the interview, who called to schedule me for a class. He didn't seem to care about the issue and also didn't appear to pass the information along, as they kept calling me about it. Ultimately, my offer was officially withdrawn because I couldn't commit to the 6 AM training and they were unwilling or unable to be flexible. I don't feel any regret about it, though. I'd rather not work for a manager like the one I spoke with on the phone, and I definitely prefer my current stable job over giving it up for this financially unstable one. Especially considering the warm weather we're having; I wouldn't earn as much in this job as I do now, even if I worked full-time.

The interview process was really laid-back and gave me a lot of good info. I didn't know much going in, but I felt good about it by the end. The management team was super nice and happy to answer anything I asked.
