First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Integral Care.
Mental Health Professional
The interview process was quite easy and straightforward. First, they described the role and asked if I was still interested in proceeding with the interview. Then, they inquired about my experience and why I would be a suitable fit for their team. A downside was that it took them quite a while to extend an offer for the role.
- What would be your response if a client expressed a desire for friendship?
QMHP-CS
I knew the hiring manager before this. When a spot opened up, I sent her my resume. She asked me a few things, and then there were more steps. I had to turn in my college transcripts, get a background check, get fingerprinted, and do a drug test and a TB test. After all that was done, they offered me the job.
- Can you describe your current role and responsibilities?
Mental Health Professional
The interview process kicked off pretty fast. Communication from the interviewer was quick via email or text. My interview was about an hour and a half. We started with a review of my job duties and the general duties of MCOT. The rest of the time was spent on answering three pages of questions. I think the interview would have been shorter if the interviewer wasn't on her phone a lot. I figured this said more about the agency than the interviewer herself.
- What would you assess in a child?
Mental Health Professional
I was referred to the Director of Nursing by a medical doctor. I then had an introductory meeting with the Program Director, which was a nice chat where we talked about my relevant experience. After that, I met someone else who described the services they provide, and I also did a tour of the facility. Then there was a long orientation covering cultural sensitivity, PMAB, and safe driving/vehicle use.
- Tell me about your understanding of the client population.
