Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Integral Ad Science.
Intern
The first step was an HR call where I was asked to give a personal introduction. The recruiter was very nice. I haven't heard back yet, so I'm not sure if I'll move on to a second round.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Would you be okay with working in NYC?
Intern
It's pretty tough to say if it's very difficult but you really need to prepare hard to get a good outcome since it is quite challenging and requires solid studying, so you should definitely prepare even better than before.
- Tell me about a time you failed.
Intern
I applied online and then got an email from the recruiter the next day. We scheduled a phone screen and they sent me a link to a personality test. A few days later we scheduled a technical interview. After that we scheduled the second interview, but I did not pass the second round. The overall process is very efficient, and people who interview me are very nice. But the platforms (i.e. the ProtectU extension, Bluejeans) they choose to use are not very good.
- What is your experience with Java?
- What is your experience with SQL?
- What programming languages are you familiar with?
