The process was pretty fast, though I had to wait a bit for the start date. The people I met were friendly and open, and they answered all my questions. There were a few steps in the process.

I applied online and 3 months later a Senior Consultant emailed me. She wanted to set up a 30-minute phone call. I responded quickly with my availability for the next day, but she never replied. The next day, I received a call on my cell while I was driving. I didn't answer because she hadn't confirmed and it wasn't during the time I suggested. I didn't get a voicemail. When I got home, I looked up the number and saw it was her. I called her back and she sounded really out of it. I could hear kids yelling and crying in the background, which I found very unprofessional (maybe she works from home?). We quickly discussed my experience, and she decided I wasn't qualified. It turned out they were looking for someone already Workday Certified with at least 5 years of experience. My resume clearly stated I only had two years of experience and wasn't certified. She also mentioned that the company doesn't have the resources to train people. While I understand that from a business perspective, I felt really undervalued on the call because I got the rejection email while we were still talking. She was rude and unprofessional. I feel like my time was wasted and the process was handled poorly. Since there's no HR department, don't expect a structured recruiting process.

My interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by two peer interviews, and then a manager interview. The final stage was with Human Resources for the offer. The offer phase involved deciding whether to accept, decline, or negotiate. Because I'm located outside the US, finalizing the offer letter took some extra time.

I had a bunch of one on one interviews over Zoom or phone. I met a peer consultant, but mostly met with manager/director level people from the department I was applying to and the company overall. They were quick to move from application to interviews to a verbal offer.
