Software Engineer Intern
So for the interview process, they covered OOP, Java, Spring, and some behavioral questions about teamwork. There was also a bit of multiple choice trivia on Java, which was pretty easy if you know your stuff. They also touched on agile and the test pyramid. I was asked to give an example of when I had to face a challenging situation.
- Can you explain the distinction between an abstract class and an interface in OOP, and provide an example?
- What are your thoughts on OOP?
- How would you describe your experience with Java?
Software Engineer
I applied online and then got invited to do a recorded interview, which was pretty strange. I had to record myself talking for a max of 2 minutes on topics the chatbot gave me. Then came the main interview, which involved a case study I had to finish 2-3 hours before. Right after that, the actual interview started and lasted an hour and a half. It was split into 30 mins of behavioral questions, 30 mins on the case study, and 30 mins of technical questions. It was the longest interview ever. The interviewers were nice, and while I could have used more technical practice, it wasn't impossibly hard. It's just frustrating that after putting so much effort in, I never heard back.
- Can you explain the differences between SQL and MongoDB?
- Live coding exercise
AI Developer
The interview was split into two main parts: a behavioral section and a technical section, with each part lasting about 30 minutes. The technical interview focused more on specific technologies, your previous work experiences, and general computer science knowledge.
- How do you handle situations where you are stuck on a task and can't find a solution?
