It was a bloated HR nonsense process. They clearly hadn't reviewed my materials and had extremely limited knowledge of their own company. I rejected the offer based on how unprofessional and unethical they were.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

First, you submit your application online with your resume and cover letter. Might need to answer some pre-screening questions too. Then, an HR recruiter from Intact will call you for a 15–30 minute chat about your experience, why you want this job and Intact, and your salary needs and when you can start. After that, the hiring manager will interview you, probably through video or in person, focusing on your technical skills and experience with claims. They might ask behavioral questions like handling tough customers or how you investigate claims. Sometimes there's a second interview, which could be with a panel, and they might give you a case study or ask about how you solve problems. Lastly, they'll do a reference check, asking for 2–3 people to vouch for you.

Behavioral Other

The process starts with a 15 minute telephone interview, which is mostly just an introduction and a chance for the recruiter to get to know a little more about you. Next, there is an online test that you have to complete (which is sent by the recruiter) that simulates working in a call centre environment. Finally, a the third step in the process is meeting with a department manager and then the department head.
