The interview process consisted of two parts. First, there was a technical and probability question. Then, they asked about my previous experience, preferred side of actuarial science (PC or L), and the type and size of data I've worked with.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was tough, harder than usual for the industry but manageable. It included typical questions like 'why P&C' and 'why Intact', plus some thought-provoking ones such as estimating the cost of cleaning all windows in the Greater Toronto Area. The interview lasted just under an hour, but the vibe was really nice and relaxed, making it not too difficult overall.

  • What led you to apply to Intact?
