& Process

The interview process was pretty standard, starting with a phone call, then a face-to-face meeting with the District Sales Manager (DSM), followed by another face-to-face with both the DSM and Regional Sales Director (RSD). It was very direct and to the point. Both the manager and regional manager were great; they made the interview feel relaxed, more like a chat between old friends than a formal interview.

Had a brief phone chat with HR, then was scheduled for an interview about a week later at the RR location. I was supposed to get an email with interview details but never did, and they didn't return my calls. I managed to find the location and get the paperwork beforehand. The hiring manager interviewed me and it was a really good, straightforward conversation. I felt good about the manager and the company afterwards. About 3-4 weeks later, HR called to say I was still in the running, but there were some company changes causing a hiring delay. A couple weeks after that, I called HR myself to check in, but haven't heard back. The HR side of things was a bummer because the RR location seemed like a great place to work.

The interview was under an hour. They didn't really go over expectations or job details, just said the company is growing and I'd be needed in various areas. The staff seemed serious, making me hesitant to ask questions. The QC management came across as rude, arrogant, and proud. The workplace has a 30:2 male to female ratio, and it's hard to work with the guys, with no fun or breaks.

I did an initial phone screen, then an in-person interview. I talked to managers and was part of a panel interview with scientists. The panel interview was great for asking questions and getting a feel for lab life. The process overall was really smooth and efficient.
