I applied on a Saturday, and they must have reviewed it Monday. By Tuesday, I had an email for a phone chat with the recruiter. At the end of the call, she invited me for an in-person interview. When I arrived, there were four people in the room and two joining remotely. They had me at the head of the table and asked questions one by one. About an hour later, I got a call offering me the job.

The interview process wasn't very structured, likely because it was a startup a few years ago. I followed up multiple times by phone and email asking for feedback, but got no response. I received an automated notification stating they'd gone with another candidate, which usually comes before an interview, but then I got a call asking to talk more. The message was on voicemail, and I had other opportunities, so I didn't call back. It gave me a disorganized impression. The company itself seemed energetic, creative, and full of talented people. So, overall, maybe it was okay.

The interview included customer service questions to assess personality and understanding of API and HTTP. Basic product knowledge was helpful. I interviewed online with two interviewers; one asked all the questions. I found out the result within 4 weeks.
