First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Instructure.
Product Manager
Got contacted by a recruiter. Then, midway through the interview process, the recruiter just told me the job was filled, no explanation. It was a waste of my prep time and makes me question their process management.
- What makes you want to join Instructure?
Product Manager
I had a really bad hiring experience with Instructure. After I applied, I waited weeks for an interview. The interview itself went okay and the hiring manager said I'd move on, but then there was just silence for weeks even though I followed up. It was unprofessional and disrespectful. After all that, I got a generic rejection email. This is not okay and makes Instructure look bad. They don't respect candidates' time. If they treat potential employees like this, the company must be disorganized. Instructure needs to fix their hiring process.
- What's your approach to market research?
Product Manager
The team was very friendly, and the interview pace was average, though HR was not very agile. It's a great company with a nice office in central Budapest. Compensation levels for senior positions (director and above) are quite limited.
- Can you share your greatest achievement?
