The hiring process involved a few interviews: a phone screen, a 1:1, and a panel interview via Teams. I thought the interviews went well, and after each one, I was told I'd get the next steps. I got those instructions until I didn't. After a bunch of follow-up emails, I heard nothing back. Totally ghosted, which isn't what I'd expect from Instructure.

Had a first round call with the Recruiter Lead, who was over 10 minutes late. We talked about the company generally, but didn't get many details about the specific roles since there were two teams hiring for different clients. The Hiring Manager would cover more about the sales cycle. They didn't ask anything about the Challenger Sale methodology, which was in the job description. I was supposed to hear back the next week, but the recruiter never responded to my emails. A simple rejection would have been nice.

Behavioral Presentation

Since I was referred, I skipped the recruiter and went straight to a meeting with the hiring manager. It was pretty relaxed, and they asked about my past work experiences. Then, I gave a 45-minute sales pitch about what I used to sell, and the hiring manager gave me feedback for the last 15 minutes. I had another call with the hiring manager afterward, and a few days later, they offered me the job.
