The interview started with a video interview consisting of 5 questions. Because there was 'unlimited think time,' it was very time-consuming to prepare meticulously for each question. Next, there was a take-home exercise. It was a fair take-home exercise, and while they said it should take a couple of hours, it actually took me about 6-8 hours to complete. The third stage was a panel interview that involved role-playing based on the performance task. Finally, I was ghosted after investing about 20 hours in total into their process, and I didn't even get a rejection email.

I applied online and got an email the next day to schedule a Zoom call with the recruiter. The recruiter was nice and easy to talk to. She said I'd get an email about next steps and would need to do a content exercise in four business days, taking about 3-4 hours. I did the exercise and sent in my work samples, but then heard nothing for two weeks. I followed up, and the recruiter said she'd be in touch by the end of the week about next steps and a panel interview. She didn't call that week or the next. I followed up again (a month after the exercise) and still heard nothing for another week. Finally, I got a form email saying thanks for my interest but the application period closed and I won't be considered for an interview.

I was contacted by HR via email and given a link to schedule a screening. I tried to schedule it three times, but twice they had to reschedule due to meetings with their manager. When we finally spoke, the HR rep asked about five standard questions. Only one question was related to the job duties, and it only asked about collaboration, not specifics. They didn't ask about my past successes or qualifications. The next day, I got an email saying my skills didn't align, which I disagree with, but it shows poor organization.
