Intern
So basically the interview process started with a telephonic interview that went for about 20 mins and involved some Java questions. Since I was on vacation during the second interview, they switched it to a telephonic one. I chatted with the hiring manager, who told me about the company and the job. Then, I had a chat with HR, followed by a background check and drug test.
- Can you explain what a singleton is?
Intern
We started with a screening interview with an associate where we talked about my background and future goals. The second round was with directors where we discussed capital markets and the details of the role. For the final interview, I met with company executives to talk about company culture and what interns gain from the experience.
- What motivates your interest in joining a trading desk?
Intern
It was two rounds. The first one was technical, and the second one was HR stuff. They were pretty easy, especially the HR part. For the technical part though, you really gotta know their products and services. Also, looking at the job description beforehand helps a lot to make you feel more confident.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
