Benefits Specialist
It started out online, and it was a one-way thing. There was no actual person to talk to. If I didn't like my first try at recording my video, I could do it again. Questions would just show up on the screen, and then I'd record myself answering them.
- Could you start by telling us a little about yourself?
Leave Case Manager
Had three interviews -- one with a recruiter, then internal staff, then the project manager. It was a normal process and I liked that it didn't drag on for weeks. The job is fully remote, but I didn't get much detail on the whole process until I asked. I thought I was being hired directly by the consumer company within a certain timeframe, but that's not the situation.
- Could you share some information about yourself?
Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
I had a screening call with the recruiting team which went really well, and I was told I'd hear back by the next Tuesday. After not hearing anything, I sent a reminder on Wednesday and was just ignored until the following week. Even though they said their virtual door was always open, it was impossible to get any replies from them. I tried to find out why the CFO wasn't interested in my application, but I was ignored again. Still no word a month later.
- Do you have experience in contact centers?
Recruiter
The interview process began with a 35-minute Zoom call with one person. This person spent most of the time talking about themselves and the company. They raised some concerns for me when I asked about the company. It's still very much a startup, and the interview process reflects that. There are no salary ranges listed for corporate positions, which makes me think they are too low. I got the feeling Instant Teams is looking for inexperienced employees who are fine with low wages. I do have concerns over the company exploiting military spouses for their gain. Temporary positions with low wages are not helping military spouses.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your background?
- Do you have any questions for me?
