A recruiter reached out about a role they were contracting for. I talked to the recruiter, and they said they'd email me back. They did email, but then never confirmed if the role was filled.

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about a contract-to-permanent electrical engineering role at Auscom via INSPYR. We had an initial phone chat, and I sent my resume and completed a questionnaire. About two weeks later, I followed up and was told Auscom changed the requirements to Engineer II, making me ineligible, but they'd let me know if anything new came up. Nothing did. A month later, I saw the same Engineer I position posted again on LinkedIn and contacted the recruiter. They confirmed it was for Auscom and said they'd connect me with the hiring manager, but I needed to resubmit the questionnaire. I did, and haven't heard back since. The lack of communication and how they just take your info and disappear is really concerning. I won't be applying for anything else through them.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn about a contract-to-hire role at Apple. I completed two 15-minute phone screens with different recruiters. The process started fast, and my single interview was scheduled just two days later. Right after the interview, the recruiter called and said I was the top candidate with great feedback. I was told a decision would be made two days after the interview. The day after the interview, I sent my recruiter a thank you note to pass along, but got an unexpected 'out of office' reply, which felt unprofessional. Around 30 minutes past the decision deadline, I received a call with no clear answer. They asked me to wait and to provide confidential work from my current job, which I'd already explained I couldn't share. I still don't have an update on when to expect a decision, and it's been over a week past the deadline, despite my efforts to get information. It was a big waste of time and completely unacceptable.
