First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inspira Health Network.
Registered Nurse
I had a recruiter call first. Then about four weeks later, I interviewed with all the managers from the acute care units. It was a group interview.
- What makes you want to be a nurse here at Inspira?
- What inspired you to become a nurse in general?
Registered Nurse
I had an initial chat with the recruiter online, they sent a link for it. We talked about my past roles and my reasons for seeking new employment, including why I left each one. Then, for about 30 minutes, they asked me some questions. After that, they explained the pay and the sign-on bonus. They also mentioned a second interview with management would be happening soon.
- Could you share your strengths and weaknesses?
- Describe a mistake you made and how you resolved it.
- How do you handle conflicts involving patients or their families?
Registered Nurse
I applied online and heard back for an interview within a week. It was a basic phone interview, but they mentioned upfront that current employees were being prioritized. We went through the interview anyway, and I was told the hiring manager would contact me within a week if I moved forward. However, I received an email just 5 hours later stating I wasn't selected and they'd gone with another candidate. So, I'm not sure why they interviewed me.
- Can you describe an instance where you dealt with a challenging patient?
