Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at InSpa.
Esthetician
Started with a 30-minute phone chat, then moved to an in-person interview which was quite involved. They had me demonstrate hands-on skills like performing a facial and waxing for about 30-45 minutes. After that, I had a sit-down chat with the manager for another 30-45 minutes.
- In your view, what qualities define an excellent esthetician?
Guest Service Coordinator
I had an interview with someone who I thought was a supervisor or manager, but she was also a guest service coordinator. The interview was in a massage room and I was asked about 5-7 questions.
- In what ways would your prior experience be beneficial for this position?
Guest Service Coordinator
The interview process was super fast and simple. Turns out, if a manager really likes a candidate, the HR department is allowed to make a job offer right then and there. This is exactly what happened to me! I was offered the job the same day I interviewed and I even started the very next day. I've been working here since June 2017, which is about 10 months now, and I absolutely love my job.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience working in a salon?
GCS
The manager and lead GCS took me into a room and asked me basic interview questions. Nothing that was unexpected it was super easy i stayed at the job for a while. It seemed like they already wanted to hire me because the interview was super casual
- Why would you be a good fit for this role?
