Consultant
The interview started with one of the interviewers giving an overview of the role, then asking the candidate about their experience. It was an informal conversation with a friendly tone.
- Can you tell us about yourself and why you're interested in this role?
- What about your background makes you a good fit for this position?
Software Engineer
I had a phone screen with a manager. They asked me a lot of personality-based questions about my leadership experience, how I learn new tech, and if I'm comfortable speaking in front of groups. It was about 20-30 minutes.
- How do you learn a new tool?
- How do you go about learning a new tool?
Software Developer
So, for a software developer role, it's usually a few steps to see if you're technically good and if you'd vibe with the team. It usually kicks off with a quick chat with a recruiter, then a tech interview where you might do some coding or solve problems. After that, there could be more interviews about how you'd design systems, algorithms, and your past work. They also do behavioral interviews to check out how you work with others, communicate, and deal with tough spots. And before the offer, there's usually a chat to make sure you fit the company vibe, and sometimes a final meeting with big bosses or the hiring manager.
- The interview process often involves multiple stages, each aimed at evaluating a candidate's qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the position.
Engagement Manager
Two weeks after my interview, I inquired about the status of the interview process. I received no response. It has been almost 2 months since my interview and I have heard nothing.n my opinion, if you ask a candidate to invest the time , the professional course of action would be to inform the candidate of the outcome. That, in and of itself, has deterred me from wanting to work at the company and/or recommend the company to others
- Nothing out of the ordinary
