Had a quick interview in a casual area with the director of consumer analytics. After that, we did a walk-through of the place and its different departments.

Behavioral Case

It was a telephonic round where we talked about my experience and past projects. Then a face-to-face round where they asked a scenario question and how I would solve it. It felt more like a conversation than an interview. There might be a third round for culture fit with higher management.

I interviewed with some really great, talented, and open-minded people. It seemed like a solid concept with good backing and big clients, but they just aren't there yet. Like any startup, they seem to have growing pains. My advice would be to diversify their services to be more profitable broadly. They attract big companies and are hands-on, but losing a major client is a big hit. A hands-off approach could also mean the team handles more clients later, which they seemed aware of and were working on. While mostly young talent, increasing compensation as they grow would attract more experienced people, which makes a difference.
