Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I interviewed with them. First, there was an HR screener. Then, a behavioral interview where I was asked a question about how many people take trains in the US annually. Next, I had to complete an Excel model, which took a day or two, involving pivots and data cleaning, followed by a walkthrough interview. After that, there was a case interview using their tool, which they no longer use. The final stage was a 'get to know you' behavioral interview. Unfortunately, the process was slow, with responses and reschedules happening late, and I received a generic rejection message after over two weeks.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation Other

I applied online and heard back about 45 days later about a first round interview that had two 30 minute virtual parts. The first 30 min part was a structured business case study with guided questions and some basic business math. The second part was a behavioral interview about my background. About 1 week later, I was invited to a final round interview which was three hours long with smaller interviews. One interview involved getting an excel spreadsheet of sales data 1 week early to analyze it using excel. You go over your results and excel skills during this interview. They said they aren't looking for Excel wizards but rather candidates who know the basics of functions (like vlookup), understand business math, and can learn Excel quickly. Another interview focused on their proprietary pricing software where you do mini case studies about different sales scenarios. It wasn't as complicated as you'd think, and by thinking out loud and using common sense, I think I did fine even without B2B negotiation experience. Finally, there was a 1:1 with a senior employee, which was standard interview stuff. After about a week, I got invited to another interview, a 1-hour 1:1 with a senior employee. HR said they added this round because too many candidates passed the previous round and they wanted to see who the best fits were from the qualified pool. It was comforting that some interviewers had non-traditional backgrounds, mostly engineering, not just business consulting. I'm a college senior with an engineering background and have interned with moderately prestigious companies in my field. I heard about Insight2Profit through a university recruiting event, and I definitely go to one of their target schools if they have them.

Case Presentation Behavioral

superday: i presented a slideshow on a microsoft excel case study that was given to me beforehand, alongside two more behavioral interviews. people were really nice, friendly, and encouraging. this is one of the only companies that mean it when they say they use cases as a way for you to ask questions and work through it together, rather than make it out to be some test you need to study and get the correct answers for.
