I had a phone call with the recruiter, then a 30-minute Zoom with the Hiring Manager. After that, there was a take-home design exercise. The final round was an on-site interview where I met with team members one-on-one.

I interviewed over the phone for a remote position. It was a pretty laid-back interview, and the people seemed really nice, like a culture I'd want to be a part of. They asked general questions.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online and then got an email from the hiring manager to set up a video interview. The process after that felt super fast... I had to meet with like five or six different people in just one week. Near the end of the week, the hiring manager asked me to do a "homework assignment" that involved a specific skill that wasn't in the job description or mentioned in any interviews, which I thought was a bit odd. I did my best on it, but they decided not to move forward with my application. It seemed like they weren't sure what they were looking for, which is why they gave me a task that didn't align with the job description. Plus, giving an assignment after already having five interviews feels a bit out of order. It would have been better to assign it earlier to save everyone time if a candidate's skills didn't match the job requirements.
