First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Inserso.
Proposal Coordinator
I had a phone screening and then an in-person interview with the VP and a Senior Proposal Coordinator. After that, I met with two hiring managers, and the final interview was with the CEO. The phone screen and the first two interviews went really well and felt conversational and professional. However, the interview with the CEO was terrible. He was rude and dismissive of my experience as a recent graduate and didn't like my questions. It felt unprofessional, and I've never had an interview like that before. I was prepared and wanted to show my interest, but he mocked me when I asked about the company's growth and his accomplishments, asking, "Why did you ask this?". I withdrew my application immediately after.
- Can you share an instance of a time you experienced failure?
- What is your understanding of this particular role?
- What information do you have about this company?
Service Desk Analyst
The interview process was really good and fast. My recruiter was friendly and helpful the whole time. It was just one round and I got an offer the same day.
- How would you handle a customer who is angry about their issue?
Agent
I had a recruiter call, and then they asked me a bunch of technical questions. They asked about myself, my hobbies, and my computer skills/certifications/education. They also asked about my previous employers and why I was looking for another job, and why I chose to work there.
- Can you explain how to map a network printer using the command prompt?
Systems Engineer
The interviewer was really good and asked a bunch of questions about the job. It was mostly about network and system management, and also desktop support stuff. It went pretty well and I think you gotta be ready for whatever they throw at you.
- Can you explain what a MAC address is?
- Could you describe the various types of system backups that can be performed?
