I had a 30 minute call with an HR manager and then another 30 minute call with two upper management people. They asked me about my skills in SEO and working with clients. They seemed a bit stressed because hiring during COVID is tough, so even though it was a normal interview, it felt a little stressful. They also asked about a gap in my resume and kind of scoffed at it, but didn't ask more. I thought that was fine though, because employment gaps aren't always a bad thing and can be explained. Overall, it seemed like a good interview for an associate level digital marketer. I liked getting to know the team better, and they asked good questions. They also explained what the next steps would be if they wanted to move forward.

So first there was this phone call thing, then I went to their office for a one-on-one with HR. After that, I had a group interview with the team I'd be joining. They asked me some questions to see if I'd fit in, and I got to ask them stuff too about what my job would be like. It was cool meeting the whole team.

So I applied and they emailed back saying my resume was on hold, which was weird since the job was still posted. A few weeks later, I got a 30-minute phone interview. The interviewer explained the role and asked about my background and some personal stuff. Then, I had an in-person interview. Honestly, it was weird; she asked the same questions, inquired about my knowledge of SEO, gave me an activity with unclear instructions, and then about 25 bored-looking coworkers interviewed me all at once, which was really intimidating and unprofessional. I thought it went well, sent a thank-you email, and then a follow-up, but never heard back. They didn't even have the courtesy to let me know I didn't get the job or why.

I had a 30-minute phone chat first, then I went to meet the Inseev Interactive people face-to-face. They asked me the typical questions, like talking about myself, my background, and what I understood about the company. I guess I did okay with those questions because they invited me for an in-person interview. When I got there, I figured they'd ask some different, more detailed questions, but nope, they asked me the exact same questions from the phone interview, like they didn't even take notes or remember me? And get this, I interviewed with like 6 people, and they never even bothered to call or email me back after the interview. I reached out to them myself, and I know I didn't get the job, but just a quick email or call back is pretty standard, you know?
