First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Innoveer Solutions.
Senior Consultant
The process started with a recruiting phone screen, followed by two technical phone screens. After that, I was invited to Boston for in-person interviews, with all expenses covered. The in-person part included a case study, a technical problem, and a short presentation. Lunch with the recruiter was also part of the day. Everyone was really friendly, respectful, and helpful. I got the offer two days later. After accepting, they did two reference calls to my current employer.
- Could you write a parsing algorithm to convert a single name field into First, Middle, and Last Name fields?
Director of Recruiting
I got referred by someone who works here and sent my resume to the VP of HR through her. I heard back right away to schedule an interview. Sadly, I had the flu the first time it was set up, so I had to cancel. They rescheduled me for a few days later. I went in and interviewed with 4 people, and then got the job offer and accepted it the very next day. It was a really fast process.
- Considering the business objectives for the year and the current team's setup, how would you suggest we restructure the team for maximum efficiency if you were hired?
Sales
I was contacted by a recruiter, sent my resume, and then set up a phone call. The recruiter had a basic understanding of the job and a very basic outline of the hiring manager's needs. I had a good phone call with the hiring manager, but the in-person meeting wasn't what I expected; they didn't seem prepared or were preoccupied with other things. The office was very small, and the atmosphere was super casual, with a start-up feel to the whole process.
- There were no particularly noteworthy questions asked, as the situation was very standard.
- The questions were very average and didn't stand out.
- It was a typical interview with no unusual questions.
Software Engineer
Found the job details on the job portal and they were quite thorough. Knowing it was a small company, I was prepared for more responsibility and challenges, but the process was as rigorous as in any large corporation. It began with a telephonic technical interview, followed by a technical interview via webcam. The third round was in person, involving both technical and management aspects, conducted by a tech panel and the head of India. I was very impressed by the technical depth of the questions from such a senior person, unlike other companies where seniors usually focus on management-related queries.
- Can you describe a scenario that covers the entire Quote to Order management process within a multi-stack environment, and how would you navigate that stringent process?
