My resume was found in their database, and they reached out for a phone pre-screen. The first call was about my interest in the company, what I knew about it (like disruptive innovation theory), my background, and then a 10-minute strategy case discussion. It lasted 30 minutes. I advanced to a second round, another phone call, similar in time and format but with more emphasis on behavioral questions. There was another case scenario asking me to discuss key factors for the client's strategy. I didn't make it to a third interview, likely due to my case question performance. They communicated well and informed me promptly about the rejection. Everyone was nice.

Applied through the MBA Career Center job board. Didn't meet the firm beforehand. First round had two back-to-back 30-minute interviews. Each had 15 mins of general resume/behavioral questions and 15 mins of ideation cases. One case was about assessing the potential of a new technology. The interviews were fun and relaxed. The second round in Watertown also had two back-to-back 30-minute interviews, which were more like conversations about growth and innovation. Really laid-back and interesting talks. The only downside was the slow response from HR, possibly due to the firm's rapid growth. Overall, a pretty easy and relaxed hiring process. They seem to hire a lot from Harvard Business School.

After an initial phone screening that lasted about 30 minutes, I went through two more phone interviews, each around 30-45 minutes. These interviews were a mix of case study and fit questions. I got a tip from someone I knew at the firm that I didn't need to stick to super rigid responses or use specific frameworks like the ones in Case in Point. The first case I got was about a company wanting to quickly and cheaply test a new concept. The second interview involved a more standard healthcare case, and I felt like having knowledge of traditional frameworks was more aligned with what they were looking for.

Applied via my school and it was pretty straightforward. Got an email after applying. Went through 3 rounds of interviews. The last one was with a partner. The cases weren't heavy on math, leaning more towards qualitative aspects. The partner interview felt way more relaxed than what you'd typically expect for a final round at an MBB firm.
