First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Innominds Software.
Embedded Software Engineer
The interview process was very smooth and went well. The HR person was really friendly. There were three rounds in total. The first round was an exam, then there was a group discussion, and finally, one interview round. The group discussion topics and the exam were easy, and if you have basic knowledge and good communication skills, it's straightforward to get shortlisted in those rounds.
- Questions related to C
- A few coding questions
- Questions concerning communication protocols
Principal Software Engineer
The interview process varies depending on the specific profile and job description. If the role is related to multimedia, the focus will be on C, C++, Audio/Video/Camera/Graphics, and Linux OS. The first round will be programming, the second round will be domain knowledge, and the third round will be with the manager.
- Did you use C?
- Did you use C++?
- Tell me about your experience with Audio/Video/Camera/Graphics
Cloud Native Development Architect
This interview process took over 2 months. They first considered me for a Cloud Native Development Manager role. After three interviews, they said I was technically strong but they had already filled the manager position and wanted to interview me for an Architect position instead. Then, their super technical VP and a new manager interviewed me for the architect role in two more rounds. I eventually heard back that I seemed good for operations, even though I've never worked in operations.
- Can you describe the well-architected framework for AWS?
- What are the principles of cloud-native application development?
QA Automation Engineer
I had two technical rounds and passed them. Then HR told me there would be a non-technical round with a VP. I asked if getting an offer was confirmed after that, and HR said it was almost confirmed. The VP asked about me and my responsibilities. I explained what I know, and he said he'd have the team proceed to the next round. But after 2 days, HR hadn't replied. When I called, I found out I was rejected without knowing why. It's really demotivating. If salary expectations aren't met, they should say so during the discussion. It's frustrating to be rejected without any feedback. Horrible VP and HR, worst experience ever! Beware of these fraudsters.
- Can you discuss your background with automation frameworks?
- Can you walk me through some Java programs you've written for automation?
