I applied on Linkedin and it took 3 weeks to get the 1st HR interview. The 1st interview was standard and was about 30 minutes (tell me about yourself, what are your technical skills, what do you know about InMusic, etc). I got an email 2 hours later to setup a video interview with the VP of Intelligence and that was scheduled a week later. 2nd interview was very casual and he was easy going, which made me less nervous. No technical questions surprisingly and mostly just behavioral type questions and wasn't a difficult interview at all (how to do you stay proactive, name a difficult situation and how did you resolve it, what do you do in your current role, what level would you rate you excel skills, etc).

Total waste of time and disrespect. Avoid this company. I had an initial call and was given a take-home assignment. After a week, I followed up and was told the developers were busy with a Q3 release and still had many assignments to review, expecting to finish in the next two weeks. After three weeks, I followed up again and got a response. Two more weeks passed, and nothing. I followed up another week. Nothing. Then another week later. Nothing. The lack of response, given the take-home test was supposed to take only a few hours, shows this isn't a good company, corroborated by many job reviews. There are also reports of CEO bullying and high developer turnover due to a toxic environment, which this interview experience confirms. AVOID! The difficulty was average, not difficult, just abysmal.

The whole process took about 8 weeks. First, there was a virtual "Open House" and then an interview the very next day. The interview was pretty straightforward, focusing on whether I had customer service experience. It took about 6 weeks to get the second interview. The HR rep was terrible at keeping in touch, promising calls or emails and then nothing. I had to chase her multiple times to get any info. She'd always say she'd follow up by the end of the week, but then silence until I reached out again. After my second interview, I waited about a week. I contacted her, and she mentioned a final decision would be made that day. I didn't hear anything until late the following week when I emailed again for an update. Within 4 minutes, she sent a generic rejection email. Honestly, don't bother with this company.

The HR person coordinating the interview process was super responsive and really worked with my schedule. The people I met with seemed genuinely interested in my background and asked good questions, making it a real two-way conversation. They kept me in the loop with feedback and realistic timelines for hearing back. HR got back to me quickly after the final interview with a clear and detailed job offer. It was a really positive experience from beginning to end.
