Behavioral Technical Presentation

Recruiter called me for an exploratory interview. It was telephonic, but the connection was bad since I was remote. So they asked me to come to the office for a face-to-face meeting. This first round was mainly about the role and my career goals. They said I'd have a full-day interview later and didn't give any prep advice. The next day, I went for the full-day interview. I met the VP of Engineering first. He asked about my current job, why I wanted to move, our current architecture, and the hardest technical challenge I'd faced. After about 30 minutes, he asked if I had questions, which I did, and then I waited. The next interviewer, who leads platform, came in. He seemed uninterested, lounging on the couch. He asked management and scenario-based questions, like handling conflicts within and outside the team, growing team members, and team size. After I asked some questions, he left. The recruiter then told me to go, without any further questions or discussion.

It was overall a positive experience. 2 Technical rounds and then VP round. In the technical round it was mainly on the architecture of applications that I own and then few hypothetical design solutions. VP round was more on what are the team's KPIs, my KPI etc.

Behavioral Technical

HR set up a telephonic interview. A person called and started asking questions without a clear structure. It felt like they were just asking questions randomly. After the interview, I followed up with HR multiple times for feedback, but they didn't even acknowledge the emails. It was very unprofessional.

  • What's your role in the current project?
