The recruiter reached out about the role and mentioned there would be three rounds. I first interviewed with a lead, who was great and made me feel comfortable. I passed this stage. My next interview was supposed to be with another lead, but she was out, so I went straight to the hiring manager. This manager was awful. He was late, picked his teeth on the call, and seemed to already have decided to reject me. He snacked throughout, insulted my personal projects, and gave one-word answers, ending the interview 15 minutes early. The next day, I got a rejection email from an ATS, which felt impersonal. I don't understand how that good lead works with such a negative manager.

So the interview had like four main parts. First, there was this online test, you know, to check how good I am at stuff, problem-solving, and basic tech knowledge. Then, we had a group discussion, which was all about seeing how well we communicate, work with others, and think on our feet. After that, it was a technical interview, focused on the actual job stuff and using what I know. Lastly, an HR chat to go over my background, why I want to work here, and if I'd be a good fit for the company vibe. It all felt pretty organized and gave me a good idea of what the job and team are about.

I went through two interviews, one over the phone and then an in-person one. In the phone call, they asked me stats questions and talked about the company. The in-person interview was chill, lasted about an hour, and we mostly chatted about financial stuff like profit and revenue, and analysis.
