It was a really good process and nice to work with. Good questions and good answers and all that. Wow, what a delight it was!

I had a quick chat with the Controller. Then, I met with the CFO and the rest of the finance team. They all seemed pretty competent, like a solid group. The controller showed good leadership, and they manage their month-end close efficiently.

Behavioral

I applied on the website for this company which sells a really cool product. The founder has done some impressive work. About a week after applying, I had a phone interview. The interviewer seemed to be reading questions from a paper, like a checklist. She didn't seem like a very skilled interviewer. It lasted about 30 minutes and the questions were pretty standard.

Behavioral Technical

I had an initial behavioral phone chat with HR, followed by an in-person technical interview. The technical interviewer was focused on networking and Linux skills and mostly criticized my experience, which was odd since I was truthful. After that bad experience, I decided not to proceed, which turned out well as I found a company that values my skills and is helping me grow.
