HR Project Manager
HR Talent Acquisition call, then a call with the hiring manager (CHRO), and then the Local HR team to finalize the offer. I got a referral from someone who works here and they had already contacted my prior manager for references.
- How do you manage in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities?
Marketing
I was first contacted by an external recruiter who then connected me with the team. The whole process took over a month and involved several interviews with different team members, which was actually good because I got to know them better. We discussed what they were looking for, what I was looking for, and what it's like to work at Infovista. They were upfront, professional, and friendly, and happy to answer any questions I had.
- Can you describe your experience with X?
- Tell me about how you've handled Y in the past, including the process and the stakeholders involved.
- What would an ideal day at work look like for you?
Software Developer
I applied online and got a call from HR for an on-site interview. The first part was a written test focusing on design patterns. Later, my answers were reviewed by the Team Lead and Manager. A week later, HR called for a second interview with the R&D director and a Software Architect, focusing on my past experience. The third interview was with HR, covering my expectations and some behavioral questions. I didn't get the offer, likely because another candidate was a better fit. I never heard back.
- Can you tell me about your experience with design patterns?
- What are your thoughts on UI design, interfaces, and abstract classes?
- Can you discuss your previous work experience with the R&D director and Software Architect?
DevOps Engineer
The technical interview went well. However, after interviewing with the managers, I received no feedback, which is unexpected from a large company like Infovista. They show no respect for candidates; a simple email stating that someone else was chosen wouldn't have cost them anything. I even followed up after a month to inquire about any updates, but received no response. After dedicating three hours to their process, I can only advise others to avoid applying to their Modena location.
- What's your approach when faced with working overtime?
