InfoTrust Interview Questions
& Process

I had my first video call with Stephanie in December 2021. She reviewed my resume and asked some basic questions. At the end of the call, she mentioned she'd recommend me for the next step. About two weeks later, I had an hour-long video interview with three senior team members. It was pretty straightforward, no tricky questions. I was happy with how I was treated and was anticipating the third interview, which was supposed to be a presentation. A week later, I emailed the hiring manager to thank them for the second interview.

The interview process was quite involved, including a presentation that you need to give to the InfoTrust staff (they are great, by the way). If they ask for a 'high level' overview of a topic, be sure to actually go into detail. My feedback was that my high level presentation didn't go into enough detail, even though it included code samples. Better to be safe and be detailed.

The process is really thorough and while it takes a while, it gives you a lot of insight into the role and the company. I actually prefer this over being rushed and not knowing if the role or company is a good fit. The team is responsive and helpful the whole way through. Interviews were with people in the role and managers. I had plenty of time to ask questions about the role and the business. The last stage is a presentation. It seems daunting, but it lets you explore the work and understand more if the role is right for you, and shows your willingness to learn and adapt, which is key in this industry.

So the interview process kicked off with a phone call. After that, I was invited to their Blue Ash office for an in-person interview. There, I met with three people. We discussed the role in detail, and they asked me a bunch of questions about my previous work experience and why I felt I'd be a good fit for the company. Their company culture seemed really important to them, and I was already impressed by their core values that I saw online, which made me even more interested. I had done some research on InfoTrust and even talked to friends about the company, so I had a good impression before I even went in. The interview really confirmed what I had learned, and I was excited when they asked me to do a presentation for the final meeting.
