First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infosys McCamish Systems.
Software Engineer
I found this job on LinkedIn and heard back from a senior recruiter at Infosys McCamish pretty quickly. We chatted about my resume to see if I was a good fit. After that, I went in for an onsite interview with two senior folks, who were really great. They also had me do a 15-minute HackerRank test on things like dynamic programming and OOP. During the technical part, I had two simple coding questions on a whiteboard. No behavioral stuff, though. My main tip is to brush up on core CS concepts like OOP, SQL, and basic Java, and really know your resume inside and out. They'll ask follow-up questions about your coursework or technologies you mention, so be ready for that. I got an offer about three days after the onsite.
- Can you reverse the string "how are you" to "you are how"?
- Explain the differences between ArrayList and Arrays in Java.
- Could you explain what a class is?
Systems Engineer
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and gave me a good overview of the company, products, team, and the interview process, while also discussing my background and career goals. This was followed by an online video interview where I was asked medium algorithm and basic questions. The next round was quite technical, covering Java basics, concurrency, micro-service concepts, and algorithms. It felt pretty relaxed, and I was excited about the possibility of joining the team. Besides the technical aspects, they also assessed my understanding of the company, my potential contributions, teamwork abilities, and sense of ownership. Following this, I received and accepted an offer. It's worth noting I was interviewing with other companies simultaneously, and the straightforward process and great team atmosphere at Infosys McCamish made my decision easier.
- What is the necessity of microservices?
Technology Analyst Lead
The interview process was really smooth and easy. The HR person was nice and set up the interview when it was best for me. We did the interview over video call, and it was about an hour long. It was a great experience, and the best part is that everything was sorted out in just one call. Even though the whole process took about 2-3 months, the HR team kept me updated weekly, which was great. I could reach the HR team by email and phone, and they always replied quickly to my questions. I was very happy with how the interview process went.

Customer Service Representative
I was transferred from Infosys, which recently bought the company, after a medical contract was lost. They taught me about financial customer service. Most employees here are not happy and are planning to leave as soon as a better opportunity comes along.
