First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at InfoMC, Inc.
Software Engineer
Started with a phone screening with HR, then a panel interview came next with behavioral and technical questions that were of average to medium difficulty.
- Can you describe a task from your most recent role that demonstrated problem-solving skills?
Tech
I applied online and then had a quick phone interview with HR. After that, I had a Skype interview with the COO and Tech Managers. They were very friendly and professional, focusing on ensuring a good personality fit alongside technical skills.
- Can you describe a non-work related experience that highlights your versatility as a candidate?
Software Developer
I had a 30-minute phone interview where they asked for more details about my background and shared some company info. After that, I was invited for a 3-hour in-person interview with the CIO, HR, the department manager, and two developers. They didn't ask job-specific technical questions but instead focused on my past experiences, even if unrelated to the job description. No tricky questions were asked. It was a pleasant experience. At the end, I was told the position wasn't fast-tracked and I'd hear back later, though it's been three weeks with no update. The office environment was nice, friendly, and relaxed, with a business casual to casual dress code. It seemed like a close-knit team with good camaraderie.
- Can you explain your approach to query performance tuning?
