Software Engineer
I interviewed at Infogrid in January. The screening interview touched on their bad reviews, which they addressed as no longer an issue. I believed them and advanced to the technical stage. I was supposed to get access to a repository for preparation, but it never happened. I was ghosted until the evening before the interview when I learned the hiring was paused. It's unprofessional to keep a candidate waiting until the last minute.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your background.
Site Reliability Engineer
I went through six interviews with this company. After all that, they made me an offer that was insultingly low, which they knew I couldn't accept, especially since we'd already talked about salary expectations early on. They gave some vague, soft-skill-related reason for this lowball offer. I suspect someone just didn't like me, which is too bad because I met some really sharp people during the interviews. But if they undervalue new hires like this, they probably do it internally too, so it's likely for the best. You guys might want to keep my experience in mind when deciding where to apply.
- Tell me about scenario-based reliability challenges.
- What are your thoughts on our company's core values?
Talent Partner
The interview process was great! The team was efficient and always gave clear timeframes for updates. Everyone I met was clearly passionate about Infogrid and their work, which was evident. I became more and more excited about working for Infogrid as the interviews progressed. I had an initial call with a Recruiter to get to know each other, understand my transferable skills, and how they'd benefit the role. The second stage involved back-to-back interviews with Recruiters, including the Head of People & Talent. This stage had more traditional interview questions like 'Tell me about a time you...'. My third and final stage was with the company's COO, which was a good chance to meet a Senior Leader and discuss company values and how I've demonstrated alignment with them.
- What is your understanding of sustainability?
- What motivates you to apply for this role at Infogrid?
- Can you share an example of a time when you...?
Customer Support Executive
I interviewed with Infogrid over about 3 weeks. It was a really conversational interview style, not one that makes you anxious. The first round was the HR screen, which made me even more excited about the company and its values. There were 4 additional stages, including a task, all concluding with an interview with the CEO. They kept me updated throughout the process. I now have a better understanding of Infogrid, the role, and the type of people they're looking for. It was a very pleasant experience and I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to join a fast-growing company with a positive goal.
- What values would you include if you were to create your own company culture, and why?
