Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Info Edge.
Senior Executive
This process is geared towards assessing street smarts. For sales roles, there are about 2-3 rounds. The focus is heavily on communication skills, gauging your confidence, and checking your understanding of the website and the business.
- Describe a situation where you had to sell a product.
- How confident are you in your sales abilities?
- What do you know about our website?
Senior Executive
It wasn't too hard, the interview process was pretty good. A key requirement was fluency in the local language, which posed a challenge for some applicants. The group discussion round was effective, primarily assessing the candidate's confidence.
- Where would you prefer to work?
Senior Executive
The first round was a group discussion with 10 people where we had to talk about either 'is India ready for war?' or 'effects of social media' for 1 minute each, and then 2 people were selected. The second round was an HR call where they talked about the process and what roles would suit me best as they have multiple roles. The third round was with a Manager who interviewed me mainly about my previous work experience and technical knowledge. The fourth round was with a senior manager who interviewed me about my tech skills and previous work. The fifth round was with a VP who interviewed me mainly to judge my tolerance and behaviour.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you a unique candidate compared to our existing employees, and why should we hire you?
- Would you still accept a position here if there were no opportunities for growth?
