Test Engineer
The whole process was Java-specific and had 4 rounds. First was an online assessment with aptitude and coding questions. Then, there were two technical rounds and one HR round.

Test Engineer
I went to a walk-in at Info Edge. The first round was a written test with aptitude/puzzles and some Java programming questions. Then there was a face-to-face technical interview. They asked me some scenario based testing questions, SQL, high severity-low priority type questions, and about 4-5 puzzles. The third round was another technical interview. The interviewer seemed rushed and was trying to finish up quickly. He asked me about bubble sort, drag & drop in Selenium WebDriver, and some SQL questions. He even left the room mid-interview a couple of times. He threw in 1-2 puzzles too. In the end, they just told me to leave for the day.
- How many minimum attempts to find the lighter ball from 8 balls?
- How many minimum attempts to find the lighter ball from 12 balls?
- The incorrect labeling puzzle with Apple, Orange, and Apple+Orange.
Test Engineer
The interview process involved a written round with puzzles and aptitude, followed by a technical interview that leaned more on puzzles than testing. Then there was a managerial round and an HR round. It wasn't too time-consuming and was well-managed, but they really focused on puzzles, so it's good to look up puzzles online beforehand.
- Mostly puzzles and programming questions.
- Not much about testing or database.
- Mainly focused on automation and Java.
