Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Info Edge.
Content Writer
The interview process was quite long, taking up my entire day. I had to request a full day off from my current job to accommodate it. I felt like I performed well during the interview, especially with the article writing part, but I'm unsure why I was ultimately rejected in the final round by the VP, who came across as quite stern and rigid.
- Given that you have a full-time job, what motivates you to pursue a content writing role?
Content Manager
After getting through 3 rounds with different department heads, the final appointment with the CEO didn't happen because he was traveling for over a month. This whole process could have been done online. The reason given was quite funny.
- Tell me about your past assignments and case studies.
Content Writer
The interview had 3 parts. First, there was a general chat with some basic questions and a quick intro. Then, a short written test to check writing skills. The second part had questions specifically about the job. In the last round, they gave a quick overview of the company and asked about salary expectations.
- Could you introduce yourself and share your experience and responsibilities at your previous company?
- Can you demonstrate your writing skills by drafting an email and writing an essay?
- What are your thoughts about the applied job profile?
