I applied online and then Ms. Chi, the recruiter, got in touch via email. She first put me in touch with the hiring manager for the team I'd potentially join. We had a Zoom chat where I learned more about the company and its culture. After that, Ms. Chi set up a technical interview via Zoom with a team member. Later, the recruiter contacted me to schedule a meeting with the group manager. During this meeting, the manager verbally offered me the position, and I received the formal written offer a few days later. The recruiter was very responsive and clear about the process, and the manager was upfront about internship opportunities. My interviewer was also friendly and put me at ease.

Got referred by someone I knew at the company, and Lefan, the recruiting manager, got in touch 4 days later. By then, I was already halfway through interviews at other places, so I was kinda stressed about finishing up here quickly. Lefan was awesome and really sped things up, lining up the engineering manager and tech lead chats within the same week. Then, a virtual onsite with 4 stages followed pretty fast. Because I had other offers on the table, they gave me a verbal "preview" offer before even starting the reference checks, just so I knew where I stood and if it was worth it to push back on my other options.

I was invited for an initial Zoom screening with the engineering manager. It was a great, natural, and informal discussion. Then, I was scheduled for two final interviews. The first was a technical interview, and the next day, the last one was with the hiring manager. I joined the Zoom call for the technical interview and waited for 5 minutes. My recruiter then jumped in and informed me that the engineer had to go to the doctor. So, I rescheduled for the same time the following week, on a Thursday. On Friday, I had the interview with the Hiring Manager, which went well. However, by Monday, my recruiter emailed me saying they had already filled the position. It wasn't my fault that the engineer had a last-minute emergency, but it was an unfortunate situation.
