First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Infinx Healthcare.
Product Engineer
I went for a walk-in interview for Product Engineer. They were looking for Java and AWS skills. It had 3 rounds. First was a screening with a coding question (LeetCode Medium) and a logic puzzle. Then, a technical interview with a senior engineer focusing on my resume, Java (OOP, collections, exceptions), REST APIs (design/consume), and Spring Boot (DI, annotations, microservices). Finally, a managerial round with the engineering manager about my impact, ownership, outcomes, challenges, and value add.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Senior Software Engineer
So the interview started with this AI video test thingy, it had like intro questions, project stuff, my responsibilities, some scenarios, and then two coding questions. After like two weeks, they called me for a technical round. In that, they asked about Java 8, some MySQL queries, and coding problems like making two threads print A1 A2 A1 A2… and finding cars with sunroofs. I did the coding and queries and explained how I did it. But honestly, the panel was kinda disappointing. It was supposed to be an hour, but I could tell they weren't impressed after the first 30 mins, yet they kept going without any real feedback. In the end, I got rejected with no reason, even though I solved everything.
- Can you discuss the new features in Java 8?
- Please write a MySQL query to show car names that have the sunroof feature.
- How would you code a solution to make two threads print in a specific sequence like A1 A2 A1 A2…?
Head of Support
The hiring manager round was great and inclusive, but I have to say the next round with the AVP was harsh and intimidating. I have interviewed with CEOs and senior leadership in multiple companies, and they set the stage for bringing out the best from the candidates. He sounded really impatient and for just half an hour of time of interview, he expected an elevator pitch for all answers. It takes time to discuss opportunity and get to understand the experience from each other. If this was the expectation please inform well ahead that no 'context' is required in any answers- just one liners. When I asked about the support channels used in Infinx within the product, he said it's a product information and can't divulge it - well, then if there is no transparency and open-mindedness, how could one expect to do their best in interviews?
- The HM round included questions about challenges, behavioral aspects, and situational scenarios.
- What are the support channels used in Infinx within the product?
HR Manager
It was a total of 3 interview rounds at Infinx, and all the interviewers were quite engaged. It felt more like a discussion than a Q&A session. The process went quite smoothly, and I got an offer within 10 days.
- Can you tell me about your experience with HR process and policy design?
- Which KPIs do you utilize to assess the effectiveness of the HR department?
- What measures would you implement to foster diversity within the company?
