Infinity Specialized Marketing Interview Questions
& Process

Went through a 2 part interview. First was a casual chat with the store manager to see who I am and if I'd fit. The second interview was with one of his associates who took me out to the field to show me how things are done for about 30 minutes, and then was supposed to interview me, but didn't really. It seemed like he had already decided. He was also dressed casually, not business fashion like we were told to wear. I didn't get a call back and feel like they only hire people they like, and they also have a strict policy where you must sell 4 dish installations in your first 4 days or you'll be fired.

Applied online and heard back pretty quickly from their in-office recruiter who asked some basic screening questions. This then led to an in-person interview with the owner, Zach. Before the interview, I tried to find out more about the position and company, but the online job posting and company website were not very helpful. It felt a bit shady or like a bait-and-switch because the online info didn't give much of an idea about the company or the job. My interview with Zach didn't really focus on my background or experience. He just asked some basic questions about work philosophy and then explained the position and company. Because of how inconsistent their online presence was with what they actually are, I felt uncomfortable with the company and turned down the chance to continue the interview process.

The HR rep was really tough to connect with, I called and called but no answer. When I finally did talk to them, they were super nice. They rescheduled my interview for the next week, but then called the day of to push it back an hour. The first interview involved a second round where I had to go to a nearby store (like Wal-mart) to talk to a salesman on the floor. I agreed and went, and the salesman was apparently told I was coming, but acted totally surprised and just asked random stuff. I then found out the base pay was way less than HR said, they told me 420-450 weekly which was about half of what HR had quoted.

You start with a one-on-one with the owner Zach, who explains the business opportunity structure. The next day, you meet with an Account Manager who details your day-to-day tasks and dives deeper into the opportunity. It was a great experience overall.
