The interview process was a bit misleading compared to the job listing, with two stages. The first stage was on Zoom, and the second stage was in the office. You probably don't know if you'll get hired until the second stage. The first stage is easy, maybe too easy. The interviewer was nice, and the interview itself was a softball. It's a two-stage process, and I don't plan on continuing to the second stage, but the first stage was very minimal. This interview was a Zoom meeting where they asked about career goals and hobbies, then vaguely described the company and position, followed by asking if I had any questions. The whole thing took about 20-30 minutes. They didn't mention the base salary, which is determined in the second stage, where you presumably go to the office, and they assess your experience for salary and commission. This wasn't in the job description. Also not mentioned was the sales outreach method; I didn't realize it would involve door-to-door sales (they called it 'residential'), though they said it wasn't mandatory and you could choose your method. I'm not sure how that's effective or even possible if a company like Verizon requires it. I think door-to-door should be in the job listing, along with 'standing outside for long periods.' I can't do that because I'm not good with Florida's heat. The interview focused on growing into management, but the Indeed listing mentioned health insurance as a benefit, which they said isn't provided until management. They mentioned so many applicants that the interview couldn't be one-on-one; I was interviewed with two other people who seemed to have more sales experience. One seemed fine with door-to-door. By the end of the first stage, I wasn't sure if I was accepted, maybe that's for the second stage, or maybe they just accept anyone. Not sure.

So, first, there's this virtual interview over zoom where it's me and another candidate with the interviewer. Then, we have an in-person group interview to see how we'd fit into the work environment.

It was a quick interview, and there's a second one coming up with the CEO! They'll give you a quick rundown of the job and then ask you some personal questions to see if you'd be a good fit for the team culture.

It was a super friendly and chill interview. We mostly chatted about me, my interests, and hobbies, and things not on my resume. They tried to keep it light and fun. It was a group interview.
