Media Analyst
I went through three rounds of interviews and also completed an assessment, and I'd say the whole thing was really positive. Everyone I met was super nice, professional, and supportive all the way through. Each interview gave me a better idea of what the job entails and the company vibe, which made me want it even more. The interviewers knew their stuff and made the talks interesting and insightful. I felt like I could really show off my skills and what I've done, making it a great experience.
- Can you share an instance where you had to meet a strict deadline and how you managed to do so?
Intern
The interview process included a 30-minute phone screening with the hiring manager to discuss your qualifications and skills. Following that, there was an hour-long Zoom interview with two supervisors or hiring managers for interns. This interview covered the position and interview questions, with time for questions at the end.
- Tell me about a time you had to think quickly and how you managed the situation.
Associate
I was first contacted by a recruiter who found my CV and thought it was a good fit for the role. After an initial chat with the recruiter, I moved on to an interview with the COO, which was really great. The COO was super engaging and genuinely wanted to hire someone, plus they were keen to hear my thoughts on PR topics. Then, I was shortlisted again to interview with two senior associates. The final step was a two-day trial at the office, where I had to do a few small tasks and tests, like writing a press release, a short blog post, preparing a presentation, and practicing liaising with journalists.
- What motivated you to seek a career in public relations?
Account Executive
I had a conversation with the senior leaders. It was uninteresting and unengaging. The person interviewing me didn't seem to care about anything I was saying. I felt like I was being rushed through the interview, as if they had more important things to do. I'd probably advise this company to hire an outside recruiting agency to handle their interview process.
- Can you pitch yourself for this role?
- What makes you a qualified candidate?
